: Windows 7 is more flexible than any other previous version of Windows ever created! Customize your look Windows 7 user profile will give you a better appearance and overall impression. 1 Adjust your display resolution:

These options are a bit hidden. Right-click an empty space on the desktop and go to "Customize". Click on "Window Color", then click on "Advanced layout settings." From the item menu, select "Icon". You can change the size by entering a higher or lower numbers. Alternatively, right click an empty space on the desktop, go to view and change from small, medium or large icons. To change the width of the icon, select the item "Icon Spacing (Horizontal)". Change the parameter to change the size of gap widths. To change the amount of space in the item menu, select "Icon Spacing (Vertical)". Change the size of the parameter space is less or greater.
10 Customize Windows Sidebar.
Windows Sidebar is a place for gadgets or mini applications, open and running. If you do not have the sidebar open, click Start on the taskbar and type "sidebar", then press Enter. Windows Sidebar should popup automatically. To add a gadget, right-click an empty spot on your desktop and go to the "Gadget." Gadget window will appear.
